Bald Hill Campground, Avon Valley, WA
A blank page in the diary for the weekend was staring at me! Do we stay home and get some chores done or go camping? Before you know it we were getting ready to spend a night in the bush.
“One night pack light” says Dixie. Is that even possible when you have children? I tried my best to just take the essential items.Read More »

4wding from Ledge Point to Seabird
Summer Holidays are for hitting the beach with a bit of 4 wheel driving thrown in for fun.

In search for our own private beach to have lunch and relax. Taking our time to explore the coast line.Read More »

Then my two year old ran inside and said “look what Daddy is doing, he is putting holes in the car”. Shh don’t tell but I was thinking to myself maybe a professional should be doing this. Turns out I had nothing to worry about as he did a great job.
Anyway I will let Dixie explain the process of fitting the snorkel.Read More »
Camping at Little Bay, Horrocks WA
Situated on top of a limestone cliff and looking down at the beach we could see a secluded camp ground. We were driving from Port Gregory to Horrocks when we took a track off to the side to do some exploring. As we are ones who never stick to the main road we often find some awesome spots and this is how we stumbled upon Little Bay.Read More »
4wd camping trip in the Aussie bush
The more I camp the more I like to find a secluded area to call home for a few days. A place where no one visits except for the native animals. All you can hear is the sound of nature and take in the aromas of the Australia bush.
Beach Camping, Australia Day
Cruising up the coast, our 4wd is loaded to the brim with camping supplies.
A deserted beach is the perfect place to pitch a tent. Nothing but white sand and blue water.Read More »
