Singapore for the first timer

I’ll admit, before visiting Singapore for the first time, I thought of it as just a stopover destination. But after spending time exploring the city, I quickly realised there is so much more to it. Although Singapore may be one of the smallest countries in the world, it’s packed with amazing attractions, incredible food, beautiful gardens, and vibrant neighbourhoods, making it a fantastic destination in its own right.

You can image my excitement when my business card was drawn out of a hat at the Asean Tourism Forum and the prize was a nights accommodation at the prestigious Raffles Hotel in Singapore. The hotel first opened its doors in 1887, since then this five star hotel has become an icon.
