Prior to having kids we were camping next to a couple with a small baby and I remember saying I would never go camping with a baby. Oh how I was wrong!

Monkey Mia, is it worth a visit?

Monkey Mia

I have mixed feelings about Monkey Mia, it is very touristy with so many people lined up on the waters edge waiting to see if they will be picked from the crowd to feed the dolphins. Even though they are wild dolphins that come in for feeding I prefer it when we have unexpected encounters with these beautiful creatures. Like when we are out on the water in our kayak and we see dolphins swimming close by or seeing them pop up in the swan river while having a picnic.Read More »

Camper Trailer

We have had an upgrade to a camper trailer. Not quite my normal upgrade to a Dexlue Ocean View room but it is still an upgrade all the same.

Prior to kids Dixie and I camped out in the back of a Troopy. Being with Dixie I knew that I was not heading for a life of luxury since our first date was in a car park at Scarborough beach while he cooked out the back of the Troopy. He was travelling around Australia when we met but that is a story for another time.
