Good things on the net

One thing we have now is time.

Time to exercise, time to garden, time to cook, time to listen to a podcast, time to read and time to learn a new skill.

At the moment we don’t have control over a lot of things. The one thing we have control over is how we use our time.

Let me share with you a few things I have stumbled upon. Things that I think are great ways to use your time.

If you want to learn how to take better pictures and get your DSLR camera off auto mode then I have found the course for you.

Nikon is offering free classes for the month of April. Each lesson is a video that goes for 15 to 45 minutes. It covers everything from how to use a DSLR camera, secrets to taking portraits, macro photography and much more.

Learn how to make a picture, not just take a picture.

The app is easy to navigate and you will be feeling great in no time!

P.E with Joe Wicks

This one is for the kids! Joe Wicks has a popular YouTube channel called The Body Coach and he has started P.E with Joe Wicks.

Keep the kids active while you are at home. Every weekday Joe puts out an exercise video suited to kids of all ages and adults can get involved too! The workouts go for 30 minutes and they are easy exercises you can do in the comfort of your own home.

Nature Play WA

25 Things to do in Social Isolation is a fabulous list put together by Nature Play WA.  It is a great resource to support families spending time together during the pandemic.

Get the kids away from modern technology and into nature. They can start a nature journal, camp in the backyard or learn a new skill like gardening.

These are just a few of the wonderful things I have found on the net?

Have you discovered something fabulous too? Please let me know in the comments.

Stay safe x

  1. What an awesome list! Olympus are doing some free online courses too and although I’ve been working out at home, I’m definitely going to check out Centr. I might as well put my time to good use 🙂
