Ten on Ten: Beach life

Welcome to ten on ten! On the 10th of each month I share 10 photos from our family life. A little snippet of our days.

Perth is having glorious Autumn weather and we are soaking up the suns rays, heading to the beach every chance we get. Making the most of the weather before it changes.

Lucky for me the beach is in our backyard. After the school drop off Master B and I follow the path down to the beach.

We beach comb, feel the sand between our toes, breathe in the fresh ocean air and get our dose of vitamin N (nature)!

Once JJ finishes school and Dixie returns from work we head back down to the beach. A picnic basket is full to the brim with a delicious dinner and there could possible be a few colds beers tucked in there too!

We make the most of the daylight before it fades away. Without fail mother nature puts on a spectacular show. The sky  is constantly changing colours with beautiful pinks and oranges on display.   After the sun has set over the Indian Ocean it is time to head home to bed and then we do it all again the next day!

Now the photos don’t stop with me, I have joined some other bloggers in a photo circle. On the 10th of every month, I share 10 of my favourite photos taken during the month.  I have linked with  Sam from The Annoyed Thyroid who is a member of the photo circle. 1. Glorious shots…and what a playground you have in your own backyard. I have only ever seen a sunset over the ocean and that was in Waikiki. Living on the east coast of Australia I get to see sunrises..at least I did when I got up early enough to photograph them! Thanks for linking up for #lifethisweek 15/52. Next week is ‘A Special Memory’.

  2. Gorgeous beach! It’s not City Beach is it? I loved visiting the beach when I lived in Subi, it was the closest I’ve ever lived to the ocean!

  3. Such stunning photographs. I live near a beach but it’s not exceptionally beautiful. There are lovely beaches in my hometown (Hervey Bay) though and I have fond memories of collecting shells etc as a kid.

  4. Your photos are just stunning and I don’t think you can beat the ocean and beach. I love walking along the beach and collecting seashells. I don’t think we ever grow out of that.

  5. Stunning photos of your beautiful backyard Anne. I love seeing the sunset over the water, as we have the opposite on the East coast. You’re very fortunate to live in such a gorgeous place! #TeamLovinLife

  6. Oh wow, those sunset photos are beautiful! 🙂 It looks like a great beach, but those pics were breathtaking. I’d love to live closer to the beach, especially with the wonderful beach weather here in Brisbane.

  7. […] Perth beaches have to be among some of the best beaches in the world. Plenty of white sand and clear water to frolic in. There is a whopping 80 kilometers of coastline in Perth. The beaches are uncrowded and there are so many options, beaches for surfing, snorkelling and swimming. The most well known beaches are Scarborough, City Beach and Cottesloe but there are so many more to explore. […]
