Cruising up the coast, our 4wd is loaded to the brim with camping supplies.
A deserted beach is the perfect place to pitch a tent. Nothing but white sand and blue water.
The days are spent exploring our new home. Strolling the beach, discovering bee hives and limestone pillars. Swimming in the waves, towels are needed before they have dried. Our hair is getting bleached from the suns rays.
Dolphins often come in close the shore. It is like they are keeping an eye on us.
We watch the changing colour of the sky as the sun goes down over the water. Not long after a full moon lights up the night sky and there is no need for torches. The light of the moon shows us the way.
The kids are making new friends. Our hair has not been brushed for days, we are constantly covered in sand but we are happy.
Hope you have a great Australia Day. How are you celebrating?

Looks like a lot of fun! We are rainy and dreary here on the Gold Coast – so not huge plans! Just lunch with my partner and exercising, might even do some outfit shoots between the rain 😉

Just a casual bbq with family here. I love the idea of camping on the beach though, I’ve never done that.

Camping on the beach is good fun! Next time I just need to work out a better way of getting all the sand of my feet before getting into bed!

What an awesome find!! I love the beach but have never camped there… not sure how I’d cope with that sand everywhere either!

Trying to get a 4 and 2 year old to brush off their feet before they got in the tent was an impossible task! It was still good fun, sand and all.

The rock formations seem very very familiar, do you mind disclosing where they are located? 🙂

It is north of Seabird in WA.

What an amazing location. I’ve never actually been beach camping but would love to find a spot and attempt it soon.

What a great camping trip. I continue to be amazed that you have so much available space and sandy beaches for camping. Nothing like that in my neck of the woods. No wonder you are often camping.
