Giveaway – Grobag

Win a Grobag
Win a Grobag

When I am camping with a baby I worry about keeping them warm at night until I discovered Grobags. With a portacot you are unable to tuck blankets under the base of the cot so I was forever worried they would come uncovered during the night. Lets face it some times when you are camping it can get a little cold at night!

Using a Grobag ensures your baby doesn’t get too cold or too warm during the night and there is no need for blankets and sheets. The sleeping bag comes in a number of warmth ratings (togs) to choose from and they are so many gorgeous designs.

Now at home I only use Grobags when my baby sleeps. They come in various sizes, also with a room thermometer which tells you what tog rating you should use depending on the room temperature and what clothing to dress your baby in. It is all too easy and now I can rest easy that my little one is comfortable and not kicking their covers off.

I highly recommend using Grobags for your bub, it will give you piece of mind that are nice and snug!

Grobag and I have organised a giveaway. Simply leave me a comment by 25 June 2015 to be in with a chance to win. This competition is only open to Australian residents and the winner can choose the Grobag they want (subject to availability).

Thank you to everyone who entered and the winner is Narelle.

  1. Wouldn’t it be great if they made these for adults too! What an amazing product and for some peace of mind definitely worth it! I like that it comes with a room thermometer! Would be great for camping! Great suggestion Anne!

  2. I’ve just discovered Grobags, my bub is 5.5months and its just starting to get cold. I’ve just transitioned him from the bassinet to the cot and was paranoid when using blankets as the mattress would not hold it down very well at the sides.
My mum passed away last year while i was pregnant and I have no siblings with babies here in Perth to help me with all the new baby solutions so have been clueless with just about everything; so when someone in parents group suggested Grobags for me, its been a Godsend for me. I had no idea what they were before just recently!

    • Sorry to hear about your loss. Becoming a mum for the first time is very overwhelming and there is so much advise out there! Just have to do what works for you and your bub

Yep, there have been so many differing opinions/suggestions. Parents group has been great for me, advice is provided but we are all accepting of each others choices.

  3. I have a gro bag that my daughter wears, we love it, well….. I love it… I know she is warm through the night and she loves it because she is warm! But the gro bag is a hand-me-down from her big brother, so it is blue and she is growing out of it quickly!! Would love her to have a pretty girly one (that actually fits!) They are just brilliant! 🙂

  4. My daughter only ever wears sleeping bags because she wont leave blankets on her even if I tuck them in she wriggles them loose and goes to the other end of the cot. We need to get some more soon as she’s outgrowing the one we’ve had for the last 6 months.

  9. I LOVE grobags but am now considering if they make them for children older than 36 months. My 3.5 yr daughter keeps waking up calling out because she’s cold and has kicked the blanket off. I need them to make longer ones. Does anyone know if they come thicker than 2.5 tog?

  10. Hubby would one want of these for me, he hates that I use him as a hot water bottle! Love these for the younger ones, it’s a relief to know that they’re toasty warm with toasty tootsies!
